Celebrated a baby moon and my 30th birthday at Lake Austin Spa! It was such a spectacular experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by super friendly staff (Brandon) who helped us get settled in quickly and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of lake Austin. We needed help and Renee at the activity desk sent Carrie to our rescue for a quick photo moment and Paula at the boat dock was so accommodating and kind! The food was amazing! We will be back soon. Thank you for making this trip so special!

Service and staff was amazing... the location and amenities were luxurious and tranquil. My best friend and I went for massages and added the day pass to lounge around and relax and it was beautiful. We got there 2 hours before our massage which allowed us to eat a light delicious lunch in their café area. I had forgot to mention I was expecting and couldnt eat smoked meats and the blonde waitress serving us was so kind on accommodating to a fully cooked meat. The help yourself snacks and coffee machine were nice to come and go as you please. We went up to the blue room the settle and relax before our massage and we actually decided to step out on the porch and use the rocking chairs. One at a time we were called back for our massages. After we met back in the locker rooms to change into a bathing suit and go to 1 of the 2 options they had for pools. We chose the indoor lap pool its was relaxing and quiet. I had a latte and my friend had a prosecco cocktail. We headed inside change and checked out before 5pm. The front desk staff and very nice and we just enjoyed our whole experience.

Just spent three days at the resort and I have to say that first and foremost the food was phenomenal. Top-notch food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chef should get all the praise for those delicious meals.||The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to all of our needs.||I loved that it wasn’t crowded and the spa was an extra added bonus to our stay.||My only recommendations would be possibly an update in the rooms. For the price that you’re paying to stay, I was expecting a much nicer room. For me it wasn’t as clean as I would want it, and the shower needs a lot of updating. The pillows were not that comfortable and I would recommend taking your own. ||The pool was beautiful, especially with the scenery, and I love that they provided floats for the guest to lay on while in the water. The bottom of the pool was very dirty, which that did surprise me as well.||Overall, the visit was a four out of five and my husband, and I had a peaceful and relaxing time.

I recently spent a girls getaway weekend at Lake Austin Spa Resort, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The bedrooms were beautiful and incredibly comfortable — peaceful, well-appointed, and the perfect place for late-night chats and true relaxation. Everything felt serene and thoughtfully designed for unwinding. The massage and facial were amazing — truly some of the best treatments I’ve ever had. The therapists were highly skilled, attentive, and made each of us feel completely pampered and restored. The food was outstanding. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was ideal for a wellness-focused girls weekend. We also loved the fitness and wellness classes. The instructors were knowledgeable, encouraging, and engaging. Shout out to Kathy who answered all my questions about lymphatic drainage techniques. Overall, it was the ideal spot for a fun girls getaway — luxurious, relaxing, and full of little touches that make you feel taken care of. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already planning our next trip back.

I enjoyed my experience. I've been to other resort/spas and Lake Austin is very different. It's laid back and understated. The bungalows are quaint with lots of southern charm. From the fitness instructors to the waitstaff, they were friendly and helpful. Plus, they get bonus points because they're dog friendly. Must Do: myofascial water aqua release at the spa - Monica is beyond amazing!

We had a great time, but we won't be back. The good: staff is AMAZING (super friendly, professional, and helpful), food was incredibly delicious, rooms were outstanding (most comfy beds we ever slept in, clean, deep tubs, perfect water pressure in shower, all the channels we wanted, spacious), lovely guests (all kinds of people were there whether solo or couples or groups and everyone was fast friends), picturesque scenary EVERYWHERE, great massage and facials in the spa, and 3 pools (2 outdoor and 1 indoor). The bad: you'll probably get lost getting there since they're signage isn't great (apparently this happens all the time), parking isn't the best, sometimes no one was at the front desk, if you leave the property you can't re-enter unless you ring the call box which isn't a problem unless no one answers the phone which happened to us, flies everywhere while we ate (they had zevo but it didn't help), rigid eating times (there are designated timeframe for breakfast and lunch and then you have to reserve a time for dinner; given the money we paid we would've liked to eat whenever we wanted), pricing isn't transparent/straightforward, and the menu is exactly the same everyday (though they do offer specials for dinner each night). It's great for a first visit, but we won't be repeat guests.

Avoid this place. Terrible service - while checking out yesterday, the man at the front desk wearing a bun was completely useless and rude; kept interrupting me, didn’t know how to look up my final invoice, nor could they explain the charges I have on my account from Lake Austin Spa. I noticed when another white woman approached, he was much nicer to her so it’s likely racial profiling. When I asked what a charge was on my incomplete invoice, they said “don’t worry about that.” Someone from billing named Dennis was supposed to reach out today to discuss charges and provide me with a final folio and I have yet to hear back. I’m having my credit card refund me because service is so terrible and they won’t respond to emails following up on my invoice, yet I continue to have new charges to my credit card. Staff needs training because most of the people at the front seemed very uninformed. Rooms were dirty, getting towels refreshed required walking down to the front desk because they don’t answer the phone and it still took another 45 minutes of waiting. Food was also subpar. I’ve been to wellness retreats around the world, worked in the travel/food magazine industry, and I can confidently say this place should be a pass which I will also inform my colleagues. I also got a hydrafacial and Becky damaged my skin, leaving bruises. I get monthly hydrafacial at a med spa and have never had this issue before. If you’re a luxury traveler and choosing between Miraval Austin and here, Miraval is a better experience as long as they don’t have a corporate retreat happening on property — more expansive, better views, activities and service. This property is for an old crowd who don’t mind returning to a run-down property because it feels like their tradition.

Nestled along the peaceful shores of Lake Austin, Lake Austin Spa Resort is the kind of destination that invites you to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine hospitality that made every detail feel thoughtful, personalized, and effortless.||The resort strikes a beautiful balance between understated luxury and natural serenity. Every space is designed to inspire relaxation, whether you’re taking in the tranquil waterfront views, strolling through the lush gardens, or unwinding in one of the beautifully appointed accommodations.||One of the greatest highlights of Lake Austin Spa Resort is the incredible variety of experiences included with your stay. The all-inclusive experience extends far beyond exceptional accommodations and dining, offering guests a thoughtfully curated schedule of wellness, fitness, and outdoor activities designed to nourish both body and mind.||Whether you begin your morning with a peaceful yoga class overlooking the lake, unwind during a guided meditation session, or enjoy one of the resort’s scenic boat cruises, each experience encourages you to disconnect from the demands of everyday life and embrace a slower, more intentional pace.||For guests who enjoy staying active, the options are equally impressive. Paddleboarding across the calm waters of Lake Austin, upper and lower body strength classes, cardiovascular workouts, nature walks, aquatic activities, and a wide variety of instructor-led fitness classes make it easy to customize each day based on your interests and wellness goals. With so many experiences included with your stay, you can fully immerse yourself in everything the resort has to offer without worrying about additional costs.||The spa experience is exceptional. Every treatment is delivered with remarkable care and expertise, creating an atmosphere where relaxation comes naturally. Combined with the resort’s wellness programming, inspiring activities, and beautifully prepared cuisine, every aspect of the experience contributes to a true sense of renewal.||What impressed me most was how seamlessly luxury, wellness, and adventure come together. Rather than simply offering a place to stay, Lake Austin Spa Resort creates an environment where guests can restore their energy, reconnect with themselves, and leave feeling genuinely refreshed.||Whether you’re planning a solo wellness retreat, a romantic getaway, or a restorative escape with friends, Lake Austin Spa Resort offers an unforgettable experience that nurtures both body and soul. It’s a destination I would enthusiastically recommend to anyone seeking relaxation, inspiration, and meaningful self-care, and one I look forward to visiting again.
